The Creative Magician
Already my whole life, I’m seeking to solve challenges in a creative way. In 2005 I founded my first company, and in 2009 I founded together with my old companion Wim La Haye Techtwo, now known as Blue Bird Day. Proudly I can say they are two years in a row, awarded the number 1 e-commerce agency in the Emerce top 100 of the Netherlands.
Staring in the recession in the deep competitive red ocean of web-development wasn’t easy. However, the great thing was, it taught me to see failure as an opportunity to learn and grow; it allowed me to celebrate victories and to create a culture where we inspire each other by example. Unfortunately enough in 2016, I needed to discover the hard way that something was missing; the stress and lack of purpose burned me out and revealed my years of substance abuse. I needed to make a shift, breaking my old habits and unhealthy patterns; I needed to re-connect with myself.
My journey guided me towards crazy things like; 10-days water fasting, 30 days of Muay Thai boxing camp, 14-days in silence with monks, implementing scrum to invent a new menu in the Balinese kitchen, giving lectures and inspirational talks in co-working spaces, hosting brainstorms on the Gili islands, living the nomadic lifestyle and volunteering in a mindful recovery community in Thailand.
Nowadays I’m using my creative entrepreneurial view, combined with 10+ years of business development knowledge as well as experience in design, e-learning, sales, marketing, and development blended with the wisdom I gained on my journey to support leaders and organizations to hack their growth.

The Knowledge Geek
Since my high school days, I have been volunteering within the NGO sector organizing workshops, leading international camps, being a mentor, teacher and developing my skills as a trainer and facilitator working mostly with vulnerable groups. All that led me to studies of Pedagogy and later MA in Management in Education.
When I discovered Mindfulness and Self-compassion it had a great impact on my values, personality, and how I see the world. So I founded Mindfulness Centar Novi Sad with a mission to spread awareness around this topic in the Balkan. I was one of the first Mindfulness teachers in the Balkans and the first MSC teacher. It was difficult to spread awareness around these topics because many people have never heard of them.
In the last 6 years, I have organized many trainings, workshops, webinars, and events for various groups of participants. During the covid pandemic in 2020. I had more than thousands of people participating in my webinars. This year I plan to publish my first book – resilience manual based on mindfulness and self-compassion practices.
At the beginning of my entrepreneurial journey, I struggled a lot with marketing and sales. I loved my work but after some time I was stressed and overwhelmed by not having a sustainable business. It took me a couple of years to truly understand the importance of marketing and sales all thanks to my husband. He changed my perspective by showing me a different way of using social media, launches, and creating my marketing strategy.
Today I’m willing to share my knowledge and experience with fellow teachers and trainers who wish to have more time to do what they love and not be burdened by all the self-promotion worries and fears which prevent them from being sustainable entrepreneurs.
The Process Hero
I am the one bringing structure and form to the creativity and magic that André drafts. I started my career as a high school teacher where I realized how important it is to develop one’s skills and how skills can literally transform lives.
After teaching I continued my work in the public sector performing project management, designing and implementing data collection methods, analyzing large amounts of data, and transforming it to information used for better decision making and forecasting.
The public sector didn’t look for me as the right environment for my achiever nature. That’s why I decided to go after a new endeavor and focus on building teams, empowering organizations, and boosting performance.
A bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a master’s degree in HR Management gave me an entirely new perspective on how people can support businesses to reach their strategic goals. I am interested in creating great places to work, building great teams, challenging people to do their best work, and where everyone can make a difference.
Passionate about improving business processes and significantly improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction. I am focused on (re)designing, implementing, and communicating the improved processes’ changes. I have worked as an HR & Business Operations Manager in a Serbian FinTech startup for six years.
After 10+ years of growing both people and organizations, I decided to use my experience and vision to build BUJOO.
